Nd-YAG LongPulse®
Indications: Couperose, spider angiomas, venous lakes, ruby spots on the face and body, varicosities of the lower limbs
Duration: 15 to 20 minutes
Return to work: Immediate
Results: 3 to 6 weeks
Frequency: 1 to 3 sessions
The Nd-YAG Laser is an effective solution for treating vascular lesions on the face and body, such as:
_ Couperose
_ Telangiectasias
_ Spider angiomas
_ Venous lakes
_ Ruby spots on the face and body
_ Varicosities of the lower limbs
With its high wavelength of 1640 nm, the Nd-YAG Laser precisely targets blood vessels by emitting a light beam absorbed by hemoglobin. This light is then converted into heat, causing the destruction of damaged blood vessels, which helps eliminate redness and improve the overall appearance of the skin.
A Quick and Effective Treatment
The Nd-YAG Laser treatment is performed without local anesthesia and generally lasts between 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the area being treated. This non-invasive solution has minimal downtime, allowing for a rapid return to daily activities. After the session, it is strongly advised to use sunscreen with SPF 50 for 4 weeks.
Visible Results in Just a Few Sessions
The results of the treatment are visible from 3 to 4 weeks after the first session. Typically, 2 to 4 sessions, spaced 4 weeks apart, are necessary to achieve long-lasting results.
