WHAT IS TISSUE BIOSTIMULATION?

Collagen stimulators, also called biostimulators, are injectables that trigger the skin's natural collagen production. They gradually improve firmness, density and skin quality when the skin loses support, without a frozen look or abrupt change to your features.

With age, the skin gradually loses firmness, density and support. Rather than simply filling, these treatments reactivate the skin's natural mechanisms: results build up over the weeks and remain natural.

At the practice in Bidart, near Biarritz, three complementary products are used. The choice of product, technique and protocol depends on the area treated, skin quality and your goals, and is defined during a prior consultation.

RADIESSE® – FIRMNESS AND SUPPORT

Radiesse® is an injectable made of calcium hydroxylapatite, a biocompatible and resorbable substance. Depending on the technique used, it provides tissue support and gradually stimulates collagen to improve firmness, elasticity and skin quality.

It is used to enhance facial harmony and contours, as well as skin quality on the neck, décolleté and hands.

Treatment is performed with a cannula or needle depending on the area. Activities can be resumed immediately; temporary redness, swelling or bruising may occur.

Indicative protocol: 1 to 3 sessions depending on the area and goal, followed by personalised maintenance
Results: gradual, developing over the weeks

JUVELOOK® – SKIN QUALITY AND DELICATE AREAS

Juvelook® combines poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA) with non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid in a fine formulation injected into the dermis. It is particularly suited to delicate areas, when the aim is to improve skin quality without adding volume.

At the practice, Juvelook® is mainly used for the eye area, the neck and atrophic acne scars. It gradually improves skin texture, fineness and density, and can be performed all year round.

Indicative protocol: 2 to 3 sessions, 4 to 6 weeks apart
Results: gradual, with improvement building over the weeks

LENISNA® – SUPPORT AND VOLUME

Lenisna® also combines PDLLA and non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid, but in a more concentrated formulation designed for deeper work. It is indicated when the face shows loss of support, laxity or a gradual loss of volume.

Lenisna® gradually improves skin density, tissue support, facial volume harmony and the sagging appearance of certain areas, with a natural result.

Indicative protocol: 2 to 3 sessions, 6 to 8 weeks apart
Results: gradual; maintenance can be discussed individually

IN PRACTICE

How long results last varies with each person, area and product. These treatments can be combined with other procedures such as polynucleotides, lasers or Ultherapy Prime for a comprehensive approach to skin quality.
