Treatment of Pigmentation Spots by Laser

Indications: Pigmentation spots

Duration: 15 to 30 minutes

Return to work: Immediate

Results: Progressive, visible after 1 to 2 weeks

Frequency: 1 to 2 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart

The ACROMA-QS® laser is a cutting-edge technology dedicated to treating pigmentation spots, such as lentigines (brown spots), on the face, décolleté, and hands. By targeting melanin, the pigment responsible for the spots, it enables a visible reduction of imperfections while preserving the surrounding tissue.

Thanks to its advanced technology, the depigmentation laser fragments the melanin pigments without leaving scars. This precise treatment offers an effective and gentle solution to achieve more even skin.

Treatment Procedure

Number of sessions:
1 to 2 sessions of 15 minutes, spaced 4 weeks apart.

Sensations:
A slight "rubber band snap" feeling followed by warmth.

After the session

The treated spots will take on a grayish appearance, indicating the treatment’s effectiveness. Small scabs may appear within 48 hours and will disappear in 1 to 2 weeks. Once the scabs fall off, the skin will have a slight pinkish tint. It is essential to protect it from the sun until it returns to its natural color.

Post-Treatment Care

A healing cream will be prescribed to promote rapid recovery. Makeup can be applied the day after treatment to conceal the small scabs. Subsequently, daily sun protection with a high SPF is essential to prevent new pigmentation spots from forming.
